87 Stinger 260 Advise
Hey guys this is my first post and I need some help.
I have a deposit on a 87 Stinger 260 w/ a private owner and I'm going to check the boat out Sat. The boat has twin 350/260 alphas w/ 700 hrs. Supose to have ben freshened up at 600hrs. I hate that term, freshened up its something less than a rebuild but what.
I have a lot of experience w/ many boats and am very mechanicaly inclined (engineer type). I know most of the common checks but I was wondering if there are any idiosyncrasies particular to the Stinger 260.
Please help me out!

Congrats! Just from my own experience.... when you want to modify or do maintenance on a twin engine boat , it will cost twice as much.
As for anything specific about that boat try the owners section.
Don't believe what you are told unless you see paperwork to back it up, get a survey.
What does a freshen cover?
Rotten stringers and transom would be a lot of work.
