I took my headers to a local welder and showed him this thread.

I run my wideband all the time to keep an eye on things. If you burn through O2 sensors then yank them out after tuning.

getting the 02 to live as any water hitting it kills them quick...ask me how I know...will be your biggest issue

Some people have had great luck using the sensor extender/heatsink and others here will call it expensive voodoo that doesn’t work. Mixed results for different engines.

did not work in lightning headers I had, I ended up putting in a header tube about 6" from head, although not ideal seemed to work fine and after killing 3 $150 sensors was great

the daytona sensors dual wideband kit is nice. You can use the monitor to live view, or live view on a laptop screen. Datalog, and so on.

If your O2 sensor is in a really bad spot, i.e. the wrong spot where there is a lot of water, this will not help you. This part works well when used with a sandwich plate between a traditional lower manifold and upper riser elbow. Any errant water/mist will not come in contact with the sensor using this device. Trickiest part is getting the part clocked in correctly so the hole is pointing down facing the exhaust stream. I've used one, and am still using it successfully for nearly 300 hours run time.
