It's not a flame arrestor, it's a massive intercooler, big boost, minimal intake charge temps.

Need to do something with that intercooler cover. Looks to plane. How about something like "Rtech 800" engrave in covers?

The owner will be engraving the lids in theme with the boat. Covers on the Konrad 800SCi package will be engraved as displayed in Miami.

As far as specs, the Konrad engine is 540 CID tall deck, 8.75:1 C.R., EFI, aluminum heads, mild hydraulic roller to produce 800 HP @ 5200 RPM with 7 psi; a very conservative setup.

The engines in this particular boat are 557 CID built by Jason @ Performance Marine. Because they were originally built for Roots blowers, they are lower compression, so we are going to install different blower pulleys and run more psi. In this configuration we will see 900+ HP.

The owner doesn't really care about the HP though, he just loves the fact that they start and idle like 500EFIs.
