G.K.
Looks like the exhaust wasn't the only thing you rerigged on the transom. Why did you change drives?

CcanDO: I looked at the new ex. to see where I put the holes and discovered that I had not done that to these pipes. I was confused in the fact that I did put a single 3/16" hole in the bottom of ea. muffler, to relieve any back pressure when the caps were installed. W/o the holes it does not seem to make any difference, so far. I've only had the boat out 5-6 times since I changed the ex. over.

Lunatic Fringe: I changed from #5's on Stelling's box's to #3A's on the transom to make it a LOT easier to get on plane. With the #5's and 3" of spacers it was o.k. not great. With the switch to the #3A the boat has no trouble getting on plane. I probably lost 5-6mph, but I did not care. It will still run 95 on a good day.

I believe that Gibson lists 5" on their web site.
