Dart Big M Block Oil Temp Sender

I Have A Dart Big M Block Mrk 4 Were Is The Best Place To Put The Oil Temp Sender Were The Oil Comes Back In From The Cooler/filter? Dose It Have A Oil Bypass? I Seen Some People In Here Talking About That But I Don't Know Were To Look.

I have mine in the 1/2" npt port of the oil filter pad on the block.
That is oil going to the bearings, after the cooler, which is where you should measure oil temp.
Alot of guys like to measure oil temp in the pan. I feel that's its more beneficial to know oil temp to the bearings. The oil isn't doing a job in the pan. It's job is done at the bearing.
