batterey wiring diagrams
 

I need a diagram for the wiring of a single outboard engine with one battery switch and two batteries. The goal is to isolate one battery to use with a live well while anchored.
As this is OSO, assume this rigging is on a retired race boat.:D

You want that second battery to be used for only the livewell....not being able to access it for starting or anything else?

The second pic will give you the option of useing the livewell battry for starting if need be....the third picture shows how the second battery will be isolated form the rest of the system...you would just need to add the on/off switch to it
