Wanted - Merc Oil Pan Pickup

Anyone know or have an oil pump pickup for Merc oil pan that I can purchase, or a good source for a new one?

They are 10" deep (well 9 3/4") from the pan-line (including the Milford high volume pump. I live in Cleveland Oh 440 465 6834 Greg

I purchased them for a Mark IV at Nappa for a stock 8 quart pan.

BIG JIM - that's an 8"

That will be 2" from the bottom of the pan - Not good

A stock 8 quart pan is 8" deep. I will measure when I get home. :signs069: Learn something everyday.

Oreo,
I will have to check at the shop on Tuesday, but I think the Melling 241S is about as close as you can get. It is deep enough, but not quite as long, putting the pickup location a little closer to the rear of the pan, which might actually be a good thing. I will try to remember and measure one on Tuesday. They are what I have been using without any problems.
