Question Need advice; Top end oiling

I have asked this before and never really received an answer. The tappet on the left was "relieved" by my original engine builder. That slot is approximately .070x.030". When running at 4-5500 for about 5 minutes, the valve cover would fill to the brim with oil and seriously puke out the breathers.

The tappet on the right is the newer crane tappet. They come with the slots which are approximately .060x.015". Crane won't divulge how much oil can pass though. I run Mobil 1 20W50. Oil temp is regulated to @212 degrees. Am I going to get enough oil up top to prevent problems? They don't puke any more and that is great but I am worried it isn't enough.

I ran an engine on the trailer with a valve cover off to see what is happening. Not much oil at idle (40psi) at 5000 (80psi) there was enough to make a hell of a mess and fill the spring valley bottom about 3/8ths of an inch after about 1-2 seconds. I would assume after several minutes it would fill even more but oil was flying everywhere. Does it sound like enough????
