Angry gps speedo problem

I went out yesterday started the motors the gps went all the way to eighty then back to about two when running the needle stayed at two i reset the tattle tale and the same thing.any ideas?

Sounds like it powered up ok, but you may not be getting signal. Also if it's indoors see if you can see the led on the round reciever light up every couple seconds or so.
