did a little looking today, this thing has a Whipple ( I guess) inhector set up on it. There are 2 extra injectors before the blower (OLD SCHOOL). I'm not real comfortable with that setup. I am probably going to install an aftermarket set up and use this engine as the guinea pig.

PS Jim Haas, I saw your ad looking to trade for a 26' Sonic. I know where a SWEET one is sitting in Pasadena MD. I will get the # tomorrow. It is a single.

My set up also has two injectors before the blower. Mine is new this year. Why would you change this?

The side mount Whipples have the auxillary injectors we are talking about.
My main reason to delete them was plumbing & the add on Whipple computer.
Everything can be controlled thru the stock ECM, with proper calibration & a 2 bar MAP sensor.

I wasn't aware that kit had a second computer. But still, my question , why bother if the system works?

Mine has a Whipple computer mounted to the top left side of the intake manifold. Does anyone make the tuning software/hardware available to modify the stock ECM?

PM Tunertech here. He did mine. As a matter of fact, we're going to do some more tuning on the high boost tune today.

So I asume larger injector will be needed if the outer two are eliminated? How are you testing your adjustments? Exhaust Pyro's?
