I am wondering what the differance would be on acceleraton from a carbed N/A motor than from a blower motor. If they both had the same horsepower.I do know the blower gives me great acceleraton. Just looking for the correct differance if there is one.

The blower motor will always out accelerate a N/A motor because it makes more torque and its power comes on sooner.

A roots or whipple engine will probably have the best acceleration. They have a very flat torque curve. I'm sure you could build a really mild big cubic inch engine to have a very flat torque curve and not quite as much HP in the higher rpms that would have just as good of torque curve as well.

I dont know, I know I have been in some natural boats with big cubic inches and big torque producing cams that have thrown me back in the seat! To be fair I have also had some s/c motors do that also!
