Default How long is gas good for ?

I'm looking at a boat that has been sitting 2-3 years with full tanks. Gas still smells like it should.....Thanks

I tried to run 2 year old gas in my 4 cycle lawn mower and 2 cycle weed wacker. It didn't even run well in those!
No way I would run a big block with that gas.

If it was stored with Sta-bil, then it is good for at least a year. This is good even in small equipment such as trimmers, mowers etc... This is actually written in Honda Power Equipment Owner's Manuals the proper procedure so the fuel will not break down and damage the carburetors.

Depends upon the power. 8.75:1, 330 HP 454's probably won't know the difference. 11.0:1 Supercharged Fuel Injected 1200's no-way.

I Mix it 50/50 W/ some 93 Or add some octane booster and burn it on the road but wouldnt want it in a boat.
