Hi Bob,
It has been 4 weeks now and I'd say I'm physically 95% good to go. Sure my pride took a hit, live and learn...
I do plan to get back into boating at some point next year or the year after. A bigger, stronger, and slower boat it will be...
I’m looking for a single engine boat 26 to 30ft that needs power. If I don’t find something between now and late spring, I write off 2008 and order myself a new hull to rig myself…

Hey Guys,
I bought another boat so my wrecked 24' Super is up for sale without engine and drive.
I'll start another thread in the swap shop and post a link here.
Thanks,

hey Pat .... good luck on the sale of the hull .....If you dont sell it I was thinking maybe a tech school or the Like ... you could donate it and use it as a tax write off ... There is a place here in NE florida called "safe harbor for boys" They rehab young men that need help in Life ... I'm sure there is something like that in your area .... m

Oh yes, if the hull does not go with all of the hi $$ accessories, the hull and trailer may be donated. Yes, there is a place here in CT. I think it's called the Sound School.
Thanks for the input...

Our new boat was delivered to the marina on Wednesday. I'm going to cover her up tomorrow.
I'm hoping to pull the engine from my old boat it the next few weeks. Then I'll strip out the stuff I plan to sell off.
It will likely be late March early April before I drop the engine in the Velocity.
