How come nobody is factoring in all the header problems with the 525's?? I ve heard that alomost every 525 has header problems.. Is that true?

Looked at a used boat a while back with the 575 package, the things I didn't like were the old school flat tappet cam, not roller, and the
fuel system, though FI , was old school throttle body, not the most desirable for future modifications.

Active.......At first I almost didn't buy my Sonic because it had the 575's.......after a lot of research on OSO I went with them........and man am I glad I did......nothing beter then hearing those blowers kick in (whine) when getting on the throttles.......all I did was buy an extra blower and have them all rebuilt one by one....better to be safe then sorry. Other then that it is typical maintenance.......... are you looking at something with 575's.......

I didnt know you ever got on the throttles this year.

Except for the day I broke my crankshaft. You had to lean on them a bit to run with me, until I blew it up.

Did you change head gaskets when adding upgrades and chiller ?
What gaskets are being used when raising the boost ?

Yes I did upgrade gaskets. With the chiller, the boost as I understand doesn't necessarily go up because the engine volume is increased. My gauges still read between 5 and 6 at WOT which is what they read before the upgrade, or least very close.

Not really, I'm doing a little research on what I may be looking into getting next and see some with both motors.
