Can I ad power steering pumps to a non-powerd full helm system?
The boat has a full helm "Hynautics" steering system that is ran off a pressure tank. Steering is nothing short of a chore. Is the solution as simple as adding pumps and retro-fit? or would I be better off starting from scratch?

Not possible, the Hynautic is a manual pump, the tank is just an oil resevoir. It is pressurized so it can be mounted remotely below the helm.
