Thanks for the advice. The blocks are at my mechanics place, so I'll have to wait on digging around in the blocks. IF the blocks are good I'll probably be upgrading to 383 stroker motors. As I said they are 1998 chevy small blocks, would that make them rollers for sure?

If they are 98's then yes they should be setup for roller lifters. 383 is the way to go for sure. I built a 355 last winter and ran it all summer but regretted not going for more cubes from the get go. I'm building a 385ci to remedy that as we speak.
