Default 632 Heads And Cam Questions

Doing a 632 9:1 compression.Is this a good cam choice ?Hydraulic roller, 248* in and 258* @.050" and .647" lift.Leaning towards Edelbrock Victor senior heads.Do these compare with Dart Pro 1's ?

What do you expect from these engines? Head and cam selection can take your engine from mild to wild.

I have a great cylinder head / cam package for a 632 cu.in. combo. We have built a few of these 1 X4 packages.

i run a 598 with a 254 /260 575 on a 109.5 10 t0 1 fully ported polished dart pro one heads and ony make 700 and 7 70 tq 5600 rpm. i dont see making that power with that cam , the extra lift might make a little more but not much imo max tq was at 4500 rpm the lower lift will help with valve train longevity i hope

It should idle good. I would suggest calling Mrhorsepower. PM him.

If it were me though. I would use something in an AFR, CNC'd, whatever is close to a 340 runner that they build. Consider some more lift on the cam and go with a solid roller.

Those engines could make serious space shuttle torque. close to 900 or better on carbs if you set them up right.

Do you need a pair of tall deck (10.2) x Dominator Merlin Marine intakes? I have a surplus pair.
