QUOTE=CcanDo;2444606]What do you think could have caused the problem ?[/QUOTE]

Gibson said that this tech is not new , similar to thru prop
exhaust , but I had dry exhaust to avoid this from happening
and they claimed to be able to quite it this way but they sucked water up like drinking thru a straw . they said desiling
could have caused the water to steam thru my exhuast .
pressure tested all cmi stuff no leaks . REBUILDING WITHOUT THEM , i KNOW THAT ! NOT FOR HP MOTORS ..............

STAY AWAY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is an intresting thread. I installed them on my boat last year. So for with no problems. Reading the last thread you seem to only talk about dry exhaust. I am running wet so I would think there is a difference seeing water is already running thru.

I do not want to blow my engines which are 550hp but I do lile the turn downs. The are great for idel speeds and are out of the water when the throttles are just move a tad foward.

Well on my 38 fever they didn't work out and the dry system
means that the water came from them.
