The cam I am running is only .690 lift. I may have more carb then I need.

It all depends on what your budget is and how cheap you can get another one for.....If it was me i would just send it to pro systems or nickerson and have them fix it....They can shrink those dominators right down to what ya need....I think it was like 400.00 bucks and when i got it back it was so nice i did not want to bolt it to the intake.......

The idle has nothing to do with jetting.

Dominators do use powervalves.

How many cubic inches is your engine???? and whats max rpm????

I agree with Griff. But, Holleys web site under tech support has a numerical listing of all the carbs with part numbers/sizes of jets, metering blocks, power valves etc. There are several models of 1050's with and without metering blocks and power valves listed.

1050's

I have 1050's on my 540's running 600hp ea. They have power valves but I don't remember the size. I'm running 80 jet's in front and 84 s i rear. Hope this helps.

I had 1050's on my 580's running 1150hp ea. They had power valves and they were 6.5 s
Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the info guy's. I called Gary Williams who built the carb, and he is going to rework it for my motor.
