Drypipetiger had a pair of Sonny's motors with (you guessed it) dry pipes in his old Tiger. Awesome sounding mills.

To use 5" bore spacing I guess you need special Heads, Cam, Crank, Pistons, Intake, Exhaust, etc... and there is the huge expense. Hopefully this configuration will become popular and more affordable as more are made.

WOW I see Callies already has cranks for this new application in the Compstar line http://www.compstarcomponents.com/Cranks/h5.htm
How many suppliers for this 5"spacing block and heads so far?

5" bore has been around for a while now. Yes you need cylinder heads and crank that are for a 5" bore spacing. There are many different head bolt patterns as well depending on what cyl. head you choose to run. On the crank shaft the main journal spacing is widened.Cam also . I now Sonny pretty well know and he has been pushing me to build a combination for marine that is Supercharged with his HEMI Pro Stock head . Any takers? We figure the engine could make well over 2000 - 2100 HP on race gas for marine use.

id like to see one with normal parts and 10 to 1 comp and efi ,reg gas ,prob should make 900-1200 hp and run 200-400 hours, and be $40-50k,,that would give merc a run for the money
