Just took some off a motor that was together for years....no leaks...BUT, You have to use "bellows glue" between the two gaskets, and they are the rubber gaskets with the S.S. piece in the center for strength.........YEAH YEAH YEAH I know I have bought the eddie marine covers(myself) and they work and look great also. But some people would like to put things together for themselves....nothing wrong with that !!
