Hey Rick ,What make screw machines do or did you run? I ran Brown and Sharp with a Lipe bar feed at National Cash Register. Didn't think they were still around with CNC now days.
Mike We have Star and Citizen CNC twin spindle with live tooling, we make Titanium Dental implants(fancy Screws):D about 100 machines total, working 3 shifts. Most of our operators came off Brown and Sharps at Amphenol in CT, and moved down here for the weather. I dont run a machine, I did Quality Control, and now work in the Quality engineering Dept as a Tech. Rick |

we supply about 1/4 of the worlds dental implants, and ours is a complete system, not just the implanted screw, but all of the tools, and attachments also, besides our operation, we also have machines in Jacksonville, new Jersey, Indiana, Spain and China. When a new product is released, I design all of the inspection criteria, spec out the inspection equipment, inspection software, inspection intervals, sample quantities, create all of the inspection sheets, etc. etc. When I explain it like that, I think I should get a raise:D
Maybe you should ask for a raise. What is the name of the company? |
