Holley Blue pump

Will this pump support dual 4's Making abetween 700-750hp. I have a brand new Holley Blue pump and not real sure that it will support the H.P. Don't have an issue with buying a new one but I hate to set it on the shelf if it will work with no problems.

Yes it will work. Just use a regulator.

Do you think I will be on the edge with this pump? It says that it will flow 90gph @ 7psi. Fee flows 120gph.

Dont waste your engine on a pump that might work. I am building two 800hp engines and am going to use a mechanical "Race Pumps" brand pump that puts out 400gph. I can get them for $285

The Holley blue is more than enough pump for your power. It will support almost 900 hp. I have never had any luck with them lasting. I use the Aeromortive street rod pump instead. About the same size, but a little more money. If you have it, use it. It will be more than enough.

it will work, just be carefull of the rest of the fuel delivery system, anti-siph. if equiped, factory fuel/water separator, fuel line size....these can bite you...Rob

I would run a CV mechanical 130 gph pump or Holley mechanical 130 pump. Both pumps have larger inlet and outlet fitting sizes, so there is no restriction in fuel flow. I have used many of these in tunnel ram applications and it works well. They are preset at 7-9 psi and usually run @ 7-8 psi. They will be far more reliable than the Holley Blue which is really designed for street car stuff.

That's been the problem that I have run into Dean. They just don't last. That is why I went to the Aeromotive. I think he has it already. Might as well run it. When it craps out, get something else. Like EZ said, make sure the rest of the fuel system is up to the task.
Eddie.

Whatelse do you guys do to the fuel system? Do you run a larger dia. line from the tank? I don't think I am going to take any chances on the the Holley pump. Hate to be out on the lake and my fuel pump take a crap!
