Default battery switch cabinet/rear bench

Hi, I'm looking for a small cabinet with a door that I could cut into my rear bench seat base and mount a battery switch into. My switch is under the seat cushion and is akward to reach. Does anyone know of a supplier of something like that? Thanks! Steve

Can you move the switch out to gain more access? Have any pics. I don't know of any boxes you could install, but moving the switch might me a bit easier than cutting a large hole in your seat. Just a thought.

Jason, I can move the switch out and "surface " mount it, but would prefer to have it in a recessed box with a door. A friend has his switch mounted like I'm talking about in his 36 Apache, but there is a vinyl cover over it with snaps. I'm looking for one with a flush "slam" latch like some of the manufacturers use in their cabins in larger sizes. Steve

Griff, That's the kind of box I'm thinking of but the doors look a little flimsy. I'ld really prefer a slam type of catch though. Thanks much for the link albeit a "sailboat" one Steve

Not a switch box but it has the door you are looking for. Cabelas sells just the door also.

Thanks By U Boy but I don't fish What I'm really looking for has a "slam" latch like Active Thunder has used in some of their latest boats for overhead storage cabinets in the cabin. I might just have to get Sydwayz involved . He's like a bloodhound on a scent! Thanks! Steve
