Is the 1060 the right filter for a inverted remote mercruiser 502 oil filter . I'm looking for a inverted napa filter and not sure what the part number is. Thanks

I think the 51061R is what you want for a a 502.

The 51060R is for the 496s.

I only use 1060 GOLD

The 51060R is a better filter. R is the designator for Racing, and the filter is designed to hold up better for longer duration at higher RPMs, which is exactly how we run our boats.
