what is the best head gasket out there for a 502/509ci with aluminum heads,i have fel pro 1047s and one failed,maybe not the gaskets fault but looking for options

If you are blowing FELPRO's then something is wrong with your engine.

Something is wrong unless you see a defect upon disassembly.

I have had FelPro's fail. Cometic or O-ring.

running aluminum heads you need to re-torque have warming the the engine and letting it cool, had the same issues on a race car, I run felpro's, I coat them heavaly with aluminum VHT header paint install wet run cool re-touque, no more more issues, Rob
