Stock 502 Exhaust leaking

It is leaking on the port motor, starboard side.
Right under the manifold, am unable to head balance to see where it is actually leaking from, but it looks more like from the mounting bolts more then anything?? Putting my hand up there while running I do not get moisture at the joint of the manifold and the head.

Is it possible I just need exhaust manifold gaskets? Or should the whole manifold be tossed?

I am only seeing water leaking when the engine is running. Just under hose pressure no water leaks

Also, is the exhaust manifold jacketed from the head? Does water pass between the head and the exhaust manifold?

I Have A 502 Mpi And This Spring I Just Changed My Manifolds Because I Had A Hole In One Of The Manifolds, I Also Thought It Was A Manifold Gasket Till I Got The Manifold Off The Engine And Seen The Hole.

where was the hole at?

here are a couple pics of the leakage :(
I will try and remove the manifold tomorrow morning for further investigation.

do you think it was repairable?
Or should i just bite the bullet and replace?

Title of your thread says it all - "Stock 502 exhaust leaking". Get some EMI's or something similar. Not only will they breathe a little better but you'll lose some serious weight right at the transom.

I Agree With Cruizin 2, The Stock Manifolds Are Big And Bulky, I Replace Mine With 496 Ho Manifolds And Risers Which Suposedly Shaved 80 Pounds But It Was Alot Of Fooling Around To Get The To Work. Go With A Set Of Emi's Or Something Similar.

Thanks for the upgrade ideas, trust me they have been in the back of my mind for over 7 years :)
However the $$ is just not there to replace exhaust on a set of twins!

Toss 'em - get the VISA and get aftermarket. The ole saying is "If they're leaking on the outside... they're leaking on the inside" which leads to big $$ if you don't address it quickly.
