why are there some many broken sets? Yawll haveing that much trouble with them or just moving up to headers?

I had bought a set for my 89 292 then traded for a 382 and i needed to buy the 6" taller riser to make them work so i have a set of reg risers collecting dust had no problems just saving bucks at the time

I have two sets as my customer that originally had them is one of those types that if one is going bad - do the other while your at it. In this case we had one manifold on one engine with a corrosion hole where the hose nipple screwed into the manifold - it was leaking - so he decided to replace all the manifolds at the same time. SMI even told me to ship the one down and have them repair it. But he choose the other route -which is fine by me! BTW - I don't have the clamps or anything else - I will try to round up the bolts, washers,etc...
