Default Help id-ing mercury prop

I'm looking at a couple of used props for my Alpha outdrive and came across a couple of cleaver design props that the only information that I could get from the owner is they have the part number - 48 74604 A4 25P - the props were her dad's and she doesn't know anything about them - they're 15 spline and about 14.25" diameter so that seems to indicate that they'll fit the alpha outdrive... The only thing that worries me is it looks like a solid hub and was wondering about the prop nut lock-ring (or lack of splines for one)

I'll try and attach the pic she sent...

Anyone have any info on this prop? How old? What application? Does it perform well?

Do not use a solid hub on an alpha. It will fit but don't do it. It will tear up your drive. Solid hubs are for transmissions and racing applications.

Yeah - that's what I was afraid of.... Is this prop worth anything?? I can pick 'em up cheap she's got 4 props total - 2 each in 21 and 25 Pitch (assuming 1 std and 1counter rotation)
