No body ever seems to mention "System 1" serviceable filters with a stainless element. Are those bad for boats? I ran one on my jet boat and it worked well.

Food for thought..

Federal Mogul is a top very large producer of bearings...Porsche' ..BMW...Benz..aircraft....and the list goes on and on.

A study completed by Federal Mogul Corp. analyzing over 7000 main and connecting rod bearings concluded that 60% of all engine wear occurs in the 5-20 micron range.

These microscopic particles closely match the precision clearances between critical engine components such as bearings and rings.

So you need both flow and filtration...how are you going to get both?

The question is ...can it be done with a conventional spin on filter in "Racing Applications"?

I've got one of those systems on my truck. Also, my father has one on his truck and his 2004 Sunsation 288 MCOB with a 496 in it. They are awesome and work very well!

Every 10-15 hours in my 509 SC 825HP. I was recommended Moroso's Racing filters so I'm using the biggest one i could find (don't remember the part#)

system 1 is also a good filter I always use there oil pumps there tops for my $ I think the engineer that set up there filters is now the owner of pure power and I seemed to like a couple of (updates ) he added to his filter also I clean with wurth carb. cleaner on a white sheet to see anything that maybe there
