Rebuilt 502 bored to 507 new everthing,including whipple @8 pound of boost. First time out, water in oil bout 3 quarts.
Redo engine bearings lifters and rings change length of headers to 15 inches. 2nd time out 3 quarts of oil in pan
change length of headers to 30 inches. pressure test water chamber in block leaked down 2 lbs in 48 hours. not what i expected oil cooler passed pressure test inter cooler passed pressure test Stumped at this point Help

Do you have flappers in the tail pipes that are bad..? I just changed mine after a repower, as I noticed they were toast.. Maybe your cam promotes reversion, and is sucking the water back into the pipes..?

Was the block flushed during the rebuild?

Were the heads torqued to the correct specs in the proper sequence..? Did you do a leakdown after the rebuild, to make sure nothing is seeping past the head gasket..? If you pressurized the block, what pressure was this at..? Cylinder pressure might have been much more than the block pressure, and as a result, if the head gaskets are bad, then the leak will be there, and give you a milkshake...

If all is god, and tripl checked for spec etc., the only other thing I can think of is you possibly have an oil drain line and intercooler crossed...? Have you triple checked them as well..? If the oil drain from the whipple is crossed with a water line, you would have your milkshake, and all the other ests would pan out...

I find it unimaginable that 3 quarts of oil found their way down the exhaust and past the piston rings of a running engine- and it didn't destroy the engine. Most likely is an improperly installed or sealed intake gasket. Then I'd look at head gaskets. Angle-milled heads are notorious for leaking at the intakes, as are decked blocks.

You can get blockoffs for the water intakes on the block and the t-stat housing on the manifold. It's easy to do a pressure test and see where it's leaking from. Go easy pn the PSI. Full pressure will blow gaskets. Try 20 PSI.
