I guess leakdown and compression checks are in my weekend forcast. Maybe swap MEFI and/or Throttle bodies??

Seems odd one engine can burn 19 gallons more than the other one and no difference in performance and no soot on the transom. I still say the cross-over valves are open when they should be closed.

Filled up a couple times since I found the sensor unplugged.
All back to normal.. Thanks MT

Sounds normal to me.

Mine have always done what you describe - before and after rebuild.

Hey Bobby, How you feeling? So sorry to hear about your accident.

I smacked the chit out of my mechanic and cut him off on the
Bud Lights. That'll teach the ratbastard to pay attention.

Take care.

I am doing ok. Still real sore and in pain. But hopefully getting better each day. Just tons of doctors appt each week. Whats going on with you?

ciaoderhead 11-10-2008 10:12 PM

In Chicago this week for PackExpo.

Dragged the Cig home Sunday for the winter. Had a nice ride Sunday, ran up towards Point Lookout and then back to Smith Point but it was a bit chilly.

Hang in there and take care.

I have 575sci's with Whipple intercoolers. These engines have always burned fuel evenly (within 1-2 gals on a tank of gas). Previous fill up one engine burned 12 gals more and this fill up it burned 19 gals gallons more (120 gal tanks). No extra soot in the tailpipes or black smoke. Checked the fuel tank valves to make sure nothing got bumped.

Any obvious things/areas to check? Thanks

I thought your thursty HEMI was parked to close to the boat and needed some gas from your boat!!!!:angry-smiley-038:
