Last year i winterized my 502 MPI by filling a five gallon bucket with rv antifreeze and having the muf on the drive, and sticking a hose from the muff into the bucket to suck it up. It didn't do it real fast, took about a minute to suck up the five gallons. Anyone see a problem with this, or will i overheat the engine doing this?

I do the same thing but put a 5 gallon holding tank (with a valve) on top of the swim platform so gravity makes the anti-freeze drain fast into the muff. I then sample the color of the exhaust to be sure it is colored adequately from the dye.

same way we have done it for years. 5-6 gallons in a big bucket with a garden hose down to the muffs. start engine on water to warm up, then shut down, switch to the bucket ( sitting on the swim platform), and run the entire bucket through.
