What roller cam spec. for 454 SS truck??
Im going to build my truck engine for my 454SS truck 1990.
Im building a gen VI 7.4 engine with vortec heads. Edelbrock TBI intake and modified trottle body, chip etc.
Edelbrock offer a`TBI frendly cam 218,228-.500.500. As what i have bin told, the TBI likes a lot of vaccum?. That means the cam need large LSA?.Right? What Roller cam will mach the flat tappet Edelbrock cam, or maby be better for what i am doing??

I want to use it on streets in the week ends. I donīt use it for towing. I look for as much power i can get with TBI. Looking for aīrollercam as im using gen VI 454 long block.

That Edelbrock cam works pretty nice even though it is a flat tappet.
I used to post here quite a bit back in the day. Lots of info.
