Don't you need the ITS alignment tool for the long snout coupler? That's what I was told so that's what I got. I know where to get them for $135.

Well, I could tell you but then I'd have to....Oh, nevermind. Here it is, at the bottom of the page. I had mine in two days. It's a two piece alignment tool. They have the regular Bravo tool for $78.Originally Posted by tinman565

Rob, I have the A20's in my boat. They all break every now and then.. I had to replace one when one of my old IMCO's decided to check out and lock up and spit the u-joints out...
Since they're steel it makes alignment a little bit more difficult than the alum. but no so bad... After re-rigging my engines and doing the new L-angle and drilling, doing the alignment was pretty easy. Also, alignment was done with the regular Bravo tool.. If you have ITS you need a different tool, otherwise it's the same.
As for yourself, you have offshore mounts so there's not really any alignment you need to worry about. a 1/16" wont show up on the alignment tool. The best way to check that you are going to be ok with offshore mounts is to check run-out on the coupler before you install the engines. If you're alignment changes drastically when you're bolting the offshore mounts chances are the alignment wasn't perfect to begin with.
