I have a 20' Cigarette TRS with HP 425 with Demon 750 carb, Gil exhaust, DUI ignition, and looking to freshen over the winter. I boat on Lake Hartwell, GA and have a fresh water cooling system. Boat currently runs 75 gps on a good day. I purchased a Merlin single plane 063034 intake and was thinking about giving it a try. Currently has a dual plane intake that need re-gasketing because it was leaking water when fired up last spring. Tightened all the bolts but still feel uncomfortable letting it ride. It was only run for a short time and winterized as the lake was very low and skimmed a sand bar while attempting to run the Meals on wheels Lake Hartwell poker run. I would like to add a roller cam but feel it is out of the budget at this time. Please give me your suggestions based on finding the budget. Thanks, Randy

depending on what intake you have now what you are going to see, with a stock cam and the under 5000 rpm range you might not gain anything..or lose some in the mid...but not that hard to change..love to hear what it did myself....
