Default Sea strainers Cap Thread

I am have a hard time breaking mine loose on the new boat. Have not gone crazy with torque yet. Just want to make sure they are not reverse threads before I really go after it.

When you get the top off, clean the threads well and grease before you re-install the top. If you just hand tighten until the top bottoms (just one hand tight) and do NOT give it an extra half turn. Mine have never loosened between clean outs and sometimes still get tight...go figure.
