Arrow first time addjustment

When installing a new set off hydraulile roller lifter,pushrods, and roller rockers (they have not been pump up) For the first time do you turn down onr turn or 1/4 turn 1999 BBC.

once you've got all the slop out of the pushrods, I will go 3/4 to 1 turn, did they give you any instructions for the lifters.

Take a squirt oil can and fill them thru the small hole in the side of the lifter before you put them in. Install them and set 3/4 turn preload. We put a little extreme pressure lube on the pushrod tips. I also spray the valve springs and rockers with the Comp Cam assembly spray.

Would priming the engine through the distribor hole with a electric drill do the same thing. The engine has been sitting all winter anyways?
