A 731 is .587/.610 226/236 on a 112 lob sep. I ran a 731 in my 525SC. I gained about 100rpms just with the cam change over the stock 525SC cam. |
How does this compare to the 741 for use in a 500EFI, is it worth the money to change to the 741 or leave the stock 500EFI cam in?
|
I'm sure Mr. griff can help you there.
|
The 741 is .610/.632 236/244 112 lob sep.
Not a huge difference in them. If thats all you are thinking about doing, then I would just leave the stock one. Its the same as 525EFI cam except the 525EFI cam is ground on 114 lob sep. |
Griff
Plan on upgrading to aluminum heads and ECU reprogram also. Just wondering if the 741 would make much difference over the stock cam? Thanks, Steve |
