how much oil do you need to put in a scs crash box and wich oil is the best

I ran amsoil 85-90,,Seems like mine had dipsticks..

Our crashboxes don't have dipsticks... That was the problem!!

Im thinking two quarts did the trick..Some others ran motor oil at about 50% capacity.Its like a rear end just need enough so that the rotating assemblys spashes it around.
I will talk to Randy tomorrow he has rebuilding them since the 80s.
