the reason i say head the head gasket is we are putting 15 pounds of air pressure to the water ports not the cyl. the air is coming from the sparkplug hole. the weird thing is it ran fine the last time out, im doing a engine swap and pulled the header and noticed alot of water in the #6 hole. i was hopeing the header was leaking. but after a comp ck of both #4 and #6 cyl theres a bigger problem . the motors are 557ci,merlin heads,871s,superchillers,lightning headers never over heated, less than 50 hours on motors all the other cyl are fine

With those furthur details of pressurizing the raw side and having water come out the spark plug hole sunds just like a head gasket gone and with two down it sounds like the gasket is gone between them. Sounds like its time for a tear down, sorry to hear about your problem, but the fix could be relativly minor and you still have plenty of time for a fix before the season really gets going. Good Luck, let us know what you found.

ok here is what i found, the comp is 140 on both engines. the hiss sound i heard was , i for got to tighten the drain plug completely never felt it coming from the cyl or plug hole just sounded that way, pressuerd block again found the crossover leaking also. so now i have it pressured and its holding still wonder where the water came from.

The Cyl Were Dry We Oiled Them, Then Comp Jumped To 150# The First Time The Gage Was Messing Up Now It Has Good Comp All The Way Around. The Block Holds Air Pressure 15#s For Over 30minutes So I Think The Head Gasket Is Fine, but I Cant Figure Out Where The Water Came From. Reversion, Leaking Header?

Again, whats the specs on the cam if we are going to talk reversion and yes, pressure test the header for leaks.
