Default TV reflection/glare

I have a 36 inch tube type flat panel tv. The glass has a lot or reflection and glare is there a low cost film or treatment that can be done to reduce this problem? The tv is great and works good but it does not make sense to spend a ton of money on it either.

A lot of the older projection big screens like Mitsubishi had a anti glare screen but I have never seen one for a tube. Best bet may be to get some black out shades. Or move up to a LCD. LCD will have the least amount of glare.
