Ditto!! Plus extra belts, Impeller, spool of wire, test light, alligator clips and jumper cables!! |
Some GREAT idea's guys!, I too would gladly give up a MPH to make sure I had enough stuff to get home, besides, I boat about 10 mins from "My Way", so, its not like my old tub is gonna impress anyone, LOL!!
Minxguy, I was actually on the Island last weekend, Freakin' windmills everywhere!, river was open, so are bays, seen a few ships and a couple of guys in runabouts, but, I dont like going in the water this early, first of all its TOO damn cold!, ha ha and 2nd, I find there is always alot of junk floating in the water in the early spring. I am finishing up some wiring and lighting issues, and tweaking the stereo a bit, should have boat at "Bullet" engines in a week or two for a water test and quick "once over" hoping to be in the water first part of May, been a LONG winter!!!! Thanks for all the input guys!, and keep it coming, please Michael |
Considering that last fall there were no windmills, it is amazing how many, how fast went up.
Not to use this as a political post, the view has been destroyed. |
Since I have a mercruiser I carry a complete water pump, hose clamps, duct tape, solinoids, drive oil, pwr steering oil, engine oil, wire, fuses, bulbs assorted wrenches and screwdrivers, flashlight spare prop and thrust ring and nut and a spare plug. In my trailer toolbox, a jack a complete seal kit, 2 complete bearings, grease and a 4 way.

Ken:
Yeah, its horrible when you dock on the North side, you can see them for miles and miles, luckily we are South/East on the Island so, they aren't around us.................Yet! Its like most things, most people didn't want them, but, a few people with money did, so, they went up.........The same few people who wanted them got ALOT rich[er] and everyone else got an eyesore, oh well, this isn't the place to vent, so, I will shut up now, LOL!! I have got some awesome ideas from this post, and have started to put a tool kit together, I am not sure how I am gonna fit my Snap On Roller cabinet in a 24ft boat yet......Ha Ha Thanks for all the advice! Michael |
