Ilmor repower ?
I am thinking about putting an Ilmor 625 or 700 in my 1993 27 fountain
My first queston is will it fit?
2nd how much will it cost complete motor with mounts wiring harness. I have a good outdrive so i do not need to buy an engine and drive package. I will do the install and rigging myself

It will likely fit width wise, but front to back will be a tight squeeze, youll have to relocate motor mounts and buy new ones for sure.
New they are stupid expensive - but If I were going to drop this coin Id send a mail to the "ilmordude" and see about a low hours used 700.
Just guessing used prices would be - 30K for a 700 - 25 for a 625... with mounts....
