Could a faulty sensor for the sea/lake temp be setting off a warning buzzer on a 95' Bayliner Ciera 2355? sensor is saying water intake is around 429 degress F

NO It will not set off the warning horn, Some Faults/Defaults are programmed in to the PCM/ECM, to ignore certain sensors and that is one of them.
