I would like to upgrade to fully hydraulic steering. This is a project boat that I don't like to spend a lot of money on, but an very capable of fabricating stuff. What should I expect to pay for used hyd. steering components?
One guy has what looks to be very good Latham rams, transom brackets, oil reservor and helm. If I'm correct I'd be able to use my stock Merc pump and just need to fabricate my own lines, and drive bracket???
What should I expect to pay for what he has got? I'm willing to wait it out to find a good price. Not going to do the work till next fall anyway.
thanks

My next upgrade is suppose to be steering also, I found this brand to be a little more $$ NEW than what others were asking for USED units. I have not really looked at anything but prices so far.
