Default Got some slack in the helm/steering cable - is there an adjustment?

I just replaced the worn out gimbal, swivel pin, steering lever, and all bushings. Both drives are tight as can be. The drives are connected by a Latham tie bar.

The steering is so much better than it was last season, but I still have a little slack in the steering cable/helm somewhere. Not much, mind you, but just enough to be annoying.

Is there any adjustment available? What should I check for?

Thanks,

Greg

There is always some play in the helm and the cable systems. Hydraulic steering is the fix.

How much slack is TOO much? And what exactly is the cause of the slack?
