I have a dead hot wire at the ignition switch and am wondering if anyone know the routes from ignition switch back. Set up is a Cigarette Cafe with all usual items (kill switch, neutral safety, etc.)

Can you give me a little more info? Did the end fall off and you do not know were it goes to? Does it have 12 volt at any key position? Is it dead at all key positions? Is there a function on the boat that currently does not work? If you apply power to it does it do anything? Are you sure it came from off the ignition? If so then it should definatly be supplied with power at some Key position. It is easy to find out how if you can answer some of my quesions.

Jon, thanks for reply. The ignition key switch has (2) hot wires (red) still attached and both are dead. If you run new hot wire to this point everything works (turn key to on position, hit starter button and motor turns over). One or both of these red wires attached to ignition swith run to a power source somewhere and am trying to trace.

Ok well your kill switches are ussually attached to the ground on the coil. SO that is not likely the problem. The good news is your wire diagrams will be readily available from Cig. That part is a custom part of their own harness so you will have to get in touch with them. The key is a super easy circuit to trace. You have a 12 volt feed that is ALWAYS powered either with or with out the switches again depends on who wired it up. Most boats need the battery switch on to be powered up to see 12 volt at the ignition. Then there are two other poles off the back. One is your "key on" power location. When you put the key to that position AND while cranking this wire should see 12 volts. The other is the "START" wire. This wire will see 12 volts ONLY wile the key is in the start position. From your previous reply it sounds like you have NO power to the ignition at all. If this is the case you likey blew a fuse to the switch. So you need to find out were that fuse is. It should be fairly obvious were. Look behind the dash and sometimes back by the motor. Let me know if I can be of any more help.

Jon, great fast post. I just emailed cig representative looking for a wiring diagram. I think your are right about fuse but can't find any blown. Will keep trying and looking (only owned boat for 48 hrs now).

Wow!! 48 hours and you have a "can't go boating like this" level problem. That's pretty quick, but I bet it ain't the record.
