1984 Chris Cat $
Found nice 30 Chris Cat. Hull looks good, has fresh 1600hp and Arneson. Could it be worth $ 35-38k? Sounds good and flyes like a plane at 110. Thanks James

mecanically speaking, it's worth more than that if engines are strong and drives are good! But for some reasons, those advertised at that price sometimes sell, sometimes stay for sale forever! but IMO, 25 k or 35 K is cheap to be able to run 110!

the boat was under propped spinning 16.5 X 33 4 blade rolla props on the rev limiters at 6000 rpm with 700hp at 110mph, new motors make 800+ with the same props, yea i think it will go faster.

OK, I know which boat it is. It was set up for racing so it does not have a standard cockpit. The 4 person set up does bring the value down, but a 110 mph boat for $ 38 k is unreal. You would have to spend a lot more to get a 30 ft skater to do the same. The Chris cat hull is a great design, ahead of it's time.

Did Arnesons work well in that hull? I like and have used Arnesons so this is not a slam against them.
Also liked my CC before I it sold to Greencard.
The price has much to do with condition, equipment, handling, etc.
