guys i am still debating fule pumps, i can get a new holley blue for 95 shipped, its the older painted ones, are they maybe better or worse then the non painted ones? i found a few used mallory pumps but i am not sure if a used mallory or a new holley would be better. i have read allot of people say the holleys are junk but if they are so bad how on earth are they still selling them? i need something in my budget but i dont want something thats gonna fail right away. i have also read allot of posts from people in both marine and sutomotive that say they have been running holley blues for years with no issues?

i am looking a t a few used mallorys, even one guy that has a pair of them cheap so i could have a spare one in the boat. one that i am looking at has a regulator, the pair does not but they are cheap if he stil has them. is there any certain regulator i should run? is it a good idea to do a return line if i am buying a new regulator? i think i am going to mount the pump under the rear seat so it is close to the tank and engine but away from heat more then in the engine compartment.
